As fall fast approaches, plans for the coming year of the Cassie Steward Circle are in progress.

Throughout the year, the circle usually meets the second Monday of each month at 1:30pmin the Memorial Room or in Fellowship Hall, depending on the program. The first meeting of the year is usually a potluck with guests invited on Thursday. The date this year is September 16 at 5:30pm. Members, invite a friend or a spouse. The calling committee will be contacting you for reservations. Bev Brown will present a program with highlights of her mission trip to Jamaica.

Members of the circle during the past year submitted new favorite recipes and a new Volume II Cookbook is in the process of being compiled.

The new program book for the year is also being compiled and should be ready for distribution at the September meeting.

BIBLE VENTURES
What has children laughing, singing, playing games, eating fun snacks
and learning valuable Bible lessons?

Yes, this sounds like Vacation Bible School, doesn’t it?
But, that is because we plan our Bible Ventures to look and sound like VBS!

Come and join the fun starting on September 12th at 9:30 a.m.
It’s for our preschoolers (if they want to join us) through 5th grade. We use the older kids as our
crew leaders and good examples for our younger kids.

Sixth graders through twelfth graders be
watching for what’s new for you!

We will be having separate classes at 9:30 a.m. for middle school youth and high school youth. If you haven’t tried Sunday school in a while,
think about joining us! Isn’t it time you really make Jesus a part of your life?
And not just a little part. Come and learn what that means.
You’ll be surprised at how exciting it can be!

Watch for “Youth Explosion” (our first get-together) coming soon
one evening this September.
It’s for YOU!!!!!

Adult Sunday School

Come join us for coffee and fellowship as we study the book
“Sacred Parenting” by Gary L. Thomas
starting on September 12 at 9:30 a.m.

Let’s look at parenting as a “holy and high calling from God, and as an opportunity to
grow spiritually as you strive to raise Godly children.”

Come and join us!
